The school bond election took place on February 20, 2018. We would like to express our appreciation to the community for supporting bond election question one which is focused on:

 • Safety and Security
 • Deferred Maintenance
 • Efficiency and Growth
 • Curriculum and Program Equity

This is an investment that households and businesses across our community have committed to, so we want to provide information on ways we will share bond project planning and updates. Our goal is for the community to be engaged and informed as we move ahead with the bond projects. We will use the following avenues for communication of bond progress:

Website
As we have more detailed and firm information, this area of the website will continue to expand and house more information. This will include: Projects currently in progress, renderings and floor plans of buildings, information on when projects are completed, financial information, and invitations to visit when construction is completed on some of the newly planned facilities.

Derby School News
Annually, we'll provide an update in the Derby School News publication mailed to all households within the district.

E-News
Monthly, we’ll provide an update through E-News which is sent out electronically to those individuals that have signed up.

Social Media
Highlights of projects will be provided through district social media outlets including: Facebook @derbypublicschools and Twitter @DerbySchoolsKS. Please like or follow us for more information.
